Stop in for a cup of coffee
I am the dishwasher, plug me in and watch me go !! Hot sink soak and go baby ! You sound like me around the house Karl, I just don't have the two boys here anymore and I miss it ! NOT !! :D
I used to help my mom and do the dishes when I was a kid. Then she would play games with me afterwards. We liked to play games together, so I would help with some of her "chores" so she would have more time to play with me... :glasses7:
Mom also used to let me cook when I was as young as 4 years old. I couldn't use the stove or oven without her supervision to make sure that I didn't start a fire. I like to cook, so she encouraged it. :D
I also used to help with laundry for extra allowance money (which got spent in pinball machines). :glasses7:
But it paid off when mom and dad divorced and we got to stay with dad. We were able to do our own laundry, dishes, and cook. It made us self-reliant and not have to have to depend on someone to take care of us. My brother and I would ask the other if he had some extra laundry if we didn't have a full load, or if I was hungry when he was cooking a burger, he would throw one on for me. We looked out for each other, as dad was busy trying to run a video store that kept him busy. :glasses7:
When I went through my divorce, she tried to tell me that I needed her to survive, I told her that I've been taking care of myself since 7th grade, I don't need her to do it... :finga:
She didn't like hearing that, but knew it was true... :color:
