I am hurting here myself. One good day 4-5 crap ones. Any one ever change out a old sash type window? I have one I need to replaced and just wondering how bad it is to do. I have done a lot of vinyl replacements but never a sash type.
Never changed one, but i rebuilt one in an old stone farmhouse. It was damaged in a fire. I replaced the sill and most of one side- the box where the one weight drops in was burnt. Replaced both ropes- they were probably dust before the fire.
