Hello, I'm new here because I just acquired my Uncles '68 Cuda Convertible. When I was a kid this is the car my Uncle let me drive to take my cousins to the beach. He passed away last year and my cousins offered it to me, couldn't be more excited. This is a survivor, the top and boot are fairly new, and they fixed things as they came along. It leaks oil so I am clanging the oil pan gasket and the main seal this week. Input I would like to get from this forum is what upgrades are worth doing. I have the 318 and it runs fine but I think the little carter BBC carb needs help. I've heard a Holley 500 DBL barrel is a good replacement. Disc brake kits? Suspension kits? Shocks? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks Mac

Welcome aboard!!! Sweet convert, glad to see it stay in the family!! I'm sure you'll get lots of feedback.

Welcome. Nice looking car. As far as the 500, I have had them on two differnt cars in the past and loved the response they had.
