Or drill the bottom hole on the thrust plate larger that the anti-rotational tab goes into. Then re-bend the rotational tab so the bolt can go through the hole also. That way you can get three bolts in and run the drip tab.

If not, I they used to make them without the drip tab and the three bolts for the thrust plate, and left the top oil hole with no bolt. The oil slinger will still throw some oil on the chain.


I think it's more important to keep the oil hole open...
