What are you listening to ?
We've got the rabbit ears rigged out and are just listening to the TV weather people today. We're located West of Spring, Texas and a tropical storm is making landfall SW of here......

The outer rain bands are just beginning to reach us here. Had steady rain for the past hour and it has slacked off for now. These rain bands are averaging between 1" and 3" per hour in intensity and that rain will fall on many areas which are still experiencing problems from the Memorial Day floods.
Depending upon location, some areas around Houston are expected to get 6" to 8" of rain over the next 24 to 36 hours with other areas expected to get 10" or more of rain over that time period. That's similar to what we had here during the recent Memorial Day floods.
The weather people say rain will get worse around the Houston area this afternoon and overnight. So we will all just have to see how it goes over the next day or so and do our best to stay dry.
Happy Motoring,
Harry
