Looks like a work of art Bill.
Thanks, but I never touched that header except to pick it up to carry it to be welded and coated. My ex-partner performed 100% of the work on it... so, I'll tell him you liked it; he will be pleased. :blob:
If anyone can do it, Dave can. Give him a few more projects and I am sure he will be doing these.
I agree; he's amazing!
Oh Bill, saw this on ebay and thought of you.

I don't know what a "Loadflite" transmission is. Some iteration of a 727, for trucks, I guess.
I have confidence in the 904 with a turbo slant. I know people run them behind high performance 8 cylinders. I think yours breaking was just a fluke. If I decide to go automatic I will be using a 904. I think there are too many advantages to not use one with the power I would hope to make.
I agree with all of that. I also believe that turbos like automatics because of the constant loading. I'd never run a stick with a turbo at the strip.
Glad you got to go to the track!
Thanks. I'll be back at it soon! It was fun. According to the Wallace online calculator site, it made 233 horesepower with only 10 pounds of boost. That is over 1 hp per cubic inch... not too shabby for a first time out, and spinning a lot...
Thanks for the kind words!
Mike
