HF fails

We bought this engine load leveler from HF for about $45, because it said it would hold 2,000lbs. The engine weighs about 1500. Both end pieces where the chain went through bent to the angle of the scope of the chain. We considered putting it back down, but then let it sit over its engine cradle for about an hour, never moved, so we raised and installed it. Afterwards the chains did not come out very well due to it being all bent up.

It did work though - technically. Hard to tell from the picture but those ends are bent. They're supposed to be 90* to the body of the leveler.

Oh and the worm gear doesn't work at all with 1500 lbs on it, so it's useless as a leveler.
