Recovered the headliner today. Got this foam backed headliner fabric at Joann Fabric. Different surface/texture, but color is very close to original. thought it would hide more of the board surface issues. Far from perfect, but not bad and definitely way better than it was. Left some extra on the edges that i will probably wrap around. Not ready to install yet. Will probably replace the seal on back glass sometime in july. Once that is done I will start getting the interior back together.
