8 3/4 3.55 Posi

All,

I have a new 73 Dart Swinger with an 8 3/4 Rear and a 742 3.23 open diff. I want to install a Posi unit with a 3.55 gearing. I am assuming that I have the stock splined axels from the donor car/truck.

I'm looking for a used or reconditioned drop in pumpkin 742/489 this would be optimal for me. I have cash and am looking for a possible pickup here in the Midwest, I'm in Cincinnati Ohio.

Please let me know what you have or where to locate a good rebuilt unit. I'm finishing up my front end rebuild and am ready to jump to the rear end of the car and get it sorted before the NATS in C-Bus. I'm sure I could probably get one there but I do not want to wait. :burnout:
