The First 1967 383 A-Body, 'Barracuda or Mr. Norms's Dart'

My '67 Dart GT originally came with a 273 2 barrel carburetor, 904 puke flight, and 7&1/4 no grip.
I found a '67 383HP with "915" heads after an extensive search. I upgraded the trans to a 727 Torque Flight, and added a '70 8&3/4 Rear Axle Housing, then found and added a '69 B Body 3.55:1 Sure Grip center section. I also used the later K Member with Schumacher Motor Mounts and Torque Strap. No hammering on anything.
I put the 383/727 and k member in from underneath the car. Steering column out. Dropped in a set of Shcumacher Coated Headers in from the top with no problems at all. Putting in/changing the spark plugs is definitely tricky, but that is the only difficulty I've found.
Engine ran OK but I now have it back out and at the engine builder's shop. It will get substantial upgrades/modifications. I'm having it built to about 400 to 450 Horsepower using data I found online. While that's going on I'm doing the final finish of the paint, adding an aftermarket wiring harness, air conditioning, and black vinyl top. Still running GTS wheels with the Dog Dish Hubcaps.
