1967 Dart 270

Here is the transmission. This is where I am going to start my rebuild. My cousin and I are going to be rebuilding it this winter. I am going to buy a rebuild kit from bulkpart.com, a forward shifting manual valve body, and a 3000 stall converter. I am still needing to clean up the transmission, so probably will be my goal over then next couple of weeks. The one part that concerns me is what appears to be a mount that is broken. I am pretty sure that it goes to the kick down linkage. If that is the case I will not have to worry since I will have a manual valve body. The third pic is of the piece that is broken off.
