Stop in for a cup of coffee

Man, these parts vendors are really getting incompetent.... Even the old established ones are screwing up... :finga:

You call them on the phone, tell them exactly what you want, they tell you that they have it, then when you get it, they sent the wrong part.... :banghead:

I ordered a rear brake hose from inline tube, told them that I need a rear hose with at least 12 1/2" or hose between the fittings, and they send me the one with 10 1/2"....

I have one of those already that doesn't fit.... :finga:

Now I gotta call them and return it.... :banghead:

I called Mancini Racing for some flex plate bolts, they sent me the 12 point ones, I like the 6 point ones, as I have 6 point sockets for them. I don't like 12 point sockets and try not to buy them if I don't have to... :violent1:

So I call them to return the 12 point ones and exchange them for 6 point ones, and they send me the 6 point ones with a return slip for the 12 point bolts.... :glasses7:

Then I send back the 12 point bolts with the return slip after getting the 6 point bolts and installing the trans to the engine now.... :D

So I ordered another part last week and asked if they received the return, and they can't verify if they had... :banghead:

So a package arrives from them the other day with 12 point flex plate bolts (in a different type of packaging) with a receipt stating that the 6 point flex plate bolts were cancelled by MP in 2009.... :finga:

THEN HOW DID THEY SEND ME A SET A WEEK AND A HALF AGO???? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

They are only as good as the least competant person that touches your order. Since there is probaby someone different taking he order, stocking the shelf, pulling the order, shipping... Too many opportunities to screw up. They almost all depend on computer being right. Not like when a guy took your order and pulled the part while you were on the phone to confirm it was right, and packed it up when he got off the phone, then shipped it himself... Those vendors are nearly all gone.
