904 adjustment?

First, make sure your TV cable is full pull at WOT.

When's the last time you adjusted the bands? That may need to happen, drop the pan:

Behind the valve body, rear band, in charge of reverse, and 1-2 shift: If it's double wrap (three bands) 4 turns out from 6 in/lb snug, if it's single 2 1/2.

While your at it, 'that bolt on the side' adjust the front band, in charge of 2-3 shift and timing: 2 1/2 turns out from snug.
