Another Mopar Off My Bucket List - Barracuda Fastback

I feel like most of my new news isn't really appropriate for a car site. It's sort of like I'm like a guy posting **** on Jerry Falwell's site but at least I'm not someone chronicling a Chebby restoration.

We're continuing with progress on the house. I have been working on that used set of kitchen cabinets. The set was almost a perfect fit but I did have to buy a couple additional bottom units. Although I was unable to find ones that matched, I found some that I felt were close enough.

The ones I wanted to put in the pantry had to be cut down 4&1/2". I could only be 19&1/2" deep and they were 24". The extra depth made them stick out into the doorway. It took me almost 2 days to modify them. The drawers and drawer slides had to be shortened too.

One of the biggest problems I ran into was trying to match the stain of the used cabinets. My two new base units and any trim I bought were oak but the used set is some other wood. We took one of the trim pieces from the used set into Menards and tried to match it with the example guide they had. It didn't turn out even close. - So we bought a different stain that ended up being closer to the right shade but it still is off. I'll have to try again.

I did have to extend the soffit on either side of the sink to make room for the top cabinets.

The trim that I put up above the cabinets seems to help finish them off.
