The navy shipped it to Honolulu after he enlisted, and he sold it there when he got out...
So if anyone ran across a white 62 Sport Fury convert with blue interior in Hawaii between 62 - 66, that was probably my dad. (He would have raced you off a stop light...)
My mom out ran a Honolulu detective one night on the ocean side road (he was in an unmarked car). He was trying to pass her, and she was paranoid that he was going to run her off the road, she pulled into a gas station and told the attendant to call the police. When the guy pulled in behind her, she told him that they called the police, and he said, "I am the police..." :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
