Cadillac CTS Seat Wiring Diagram

Cts v seat are super nice plus they hold you in the turns!

I wish I could find those seats around here.

Those are beautiful. The integral shoulder belt is about the only way to upgrade an A-body that didn't come with factory shoulder belts. Sebring vert seats are similar, as are more sedans today.

I have front seats from a Mustang Cobra convertible I will soon be installing in my Dart. Not leather, but only $50 off craigslist. They have the upper loop for a shoulder belt. Only the driver's seat is powered, and it has integral control buttons, so the only wiring is to connect +12V and ground. Similar seats on ebay are $$$ plus $$ shipping.

I bought mine off of Ebay...

2007 CTS-V

Thanks for the info. I have never used E-Bay. May I ask what seats like that sell for on that site? How about shipping cost?

I am trying to get an idea as to whether it will be cost effective for me to go that route.

By the way, will you have your back seats recovered to match the new buckets?

good info!
i just tested my Sebring seat wiring last night.. its all good!
can't afford to reupholster them for awhile so I'm just going to dye the back seat to match until i feel rich again.
will be nice having shoulder belts.
What kind of gizmo actuates the shoulder belts on those if there's a crash?

where does the red wiring go? On second thought could you just come over to my house and do it for me free of charge lol

Prices vary, depending on condition, color (black is more popular among the hotrod crowd) and how far they need to be shipped. You could check local junk yards before Ebay, it would save you the shipping costs.

I am planning on using the back seat from the Caddy as well.

The same gizmo that actuates your seats.

All right, but only if you let me give you a couple bucks to boot. :tongue3:

they use a G-sensor? wow, i wish i'd known that before going with the sebring seats. Those look really comfy!

I thought that the sebring seats needed an external sensor of some kind to actuate the belts. Does the CTS seat use a pendulum style seatbelt lock?

Tincup,

Have you completed this install yet? How heavy are the seats? I'm considering picking up a pair if I can find some local.

For comfort, Those are awesome! for seats that hold you and place and dont weigh a ton. 1990-2001 acura Integra and GS-R seats
