Another Mopar Off My Bucket List - Barracuda Fastback

I took a day off last weekend to go to another car show. With the temperature hovering in the mid-90s all week I needed a break. Dwight, Nebraska. A few of my friends live close by so I wanted to check out their rides. There were 8 car shows going on in the area that day so the turnout was small.

One of my buddies finished the AAR he'd been restoring and I hadn't seen it since it was off the rotisserie. It has got to be one of the finest restorations anywhere. Every nut and bolt is exactly as it should have been when it rolled off the assembly line. He was meticulous about making sure every tag and factory marking was in place. The undercarriage is as detailed as the topside.

The car he started with was rough and he wanted everything perfect so there is no patching anywhere, - but the car was reconstructed with all new FULL body panels. Very few of the original body panels remain. (I think the cowl and roof.) I wish I'd taken more pictures of it.

He's already started on his next project. He bought a '72 340 Duster.
