Just downloaded windows 10

I see where 10 shares the installation files with other computers over the internet USING YOUR bandwidth.
It works like the P2P file sharing programs that we warn people not to use, or at their own risk.
So even though you might not be doing anything at all on your computer it may be busy sharing installer files with other people so they can upgrade, and causing your internet to be slower or possibly even cost you more for your internet usage.

They did this to take the downloads stress off their own servers and put some of it on you.
The only upside is that it can be turned off in the Windows Update settings, but it is automatically "On" when the OS installs.

We'll call Windows 10 "The socialist OS" :D

I am downloading the ISO versions of 32 and 64 bit both, so I can make installation DVD's of them instead of the upgrade download.
Then I will use a secondary drive to install 10 on, so I can retain my 7 OS.
They say for a fresh (non upgrade) install you will need your Windows 7,8 or 8.1 serial number, so anyone that does not have it can download my serial number report tool.
It tells you your serial numbers for Windows as well as most other MS programs.
