The factory ignition is tried and true. One of the best ignitions ever invented. Good enough to propel cars into 9's.

Then fire that nice factory mopar dizzy off with a standard GM 4 pin HEI module , and a good HEI compatible coil, and toss the ballast resistor, and stock mopar electronic brain box right in the trash can.
