Another Mopar Off My Bucket List - Barracuda Fastback
I REALLY REALLY suck at slinging drywall mud. It became apparent when it came time to sand. One guy that is a retired house builder came over and had a look of horror on his face when he saw the amount of work it was going to take to sand it all down. The joints should all turn out OK but I have to get more conservative with applying compound.
I did manage to put up another one of those fake tin ceilings in the dining room. So far it's looking pretty good and (thank God) at least I didn't have to finish those ceiling drywall seams.
The dining room had plate rails around the perimeter. I've lowered them a few feet and am planning on widening the tops to 8" instead of the 4" width they were. Not too many people display plates anymore so I want to use them as shelves for plants and nick-naks instead.
I built a shelf in the pantry room that will be over the computer desk. It should match the woodwork on the cabinets on the opposite wall.
