Cheetah valve body... Throw away spring?

Removing the spring will give a sharper quicker application of second gear.
On the other side of the coin, it's harder on internals like planetary gears and such because of that.
I left mine out and have a nice super quick 1-2 shift with zero hesitation between 1st letting go and second taking hold.
I also have about a 2000 stall, but I have real high gears and on occasion accidentaly get a little second gear bark without trying.
Some people use a stronger spring so it ends up kind of in the middle.

I'm not saying you should do either one, but just giving you some pros and cons.
