What's not to like about this holiday...families & friends getting together for cookouts, going to the beach, lot's of great memories there.
Since I moved out here 2 1/2 years ago, by myself, I've made a few friends. A former coworker has been celebrating her 22nd birthday this weekend. I feel I've watched her grow into a charming and independent young lady, and we are getting together downtown later for drinks and seafood. I told her if she gets a more exciting offer, say, going out on a boat, it won't hurt my feelings if we reschedule.:cheers:
