Heater fan motor
After thinking about the great photos Rustedwrench posted about the heater fan lead grounding I realize that the purpose of the lead is twofold. It is to ground the heater core to prevent long term electrolisis of the heater core while continuing on to a body ground which grounds the heater core and gives a return path for the fan motor. Thanks RW-the light bulb is now lit. A problem for me is that I insulated the tubes where the hold down screws into the plastic base so if I terminate the wire there my heater core there it will not be grounded. Today I will devise another way to ground it. Thanks again for the help! Looking forward to an uninterrupted week of working on my BC, lots of action planned!!
