FiTech EFI system
I have bought the 8 injector unit and am currently trying to work out what the optimal ignition setup would be if I wanted the go-efi unit to control ignition too.
Was hoping not to have to buy completely different parts down the track if I choose poorly now.
My plan was to add boost (88mm garrett) once it was all going, 7-10psi at most using e85. Power goals are modest (in my opinion) at 600hp, if it goes more, even better.
If I don't get at least a basic CDI unit, will I need to run a ballast type mopar ignition setup? HEI seems a no-go if I use the fitech for timing. So, with my knowledge of car mechanicals being 2/10ths of jack ****...what sort of ignition setup do I "want" for my purposes?
