How many CURRENT owners of real '74 360 Duster 4 speed cars on here?

-
Checked my air cleaner and it is the oval type. Yeah! They never came with the "360" on the rear fenders.

Yea, no numbers on the rear. Just that metal badge on the fender. Did you guys see the one on youtube- factory blue and three speed on the floor. Beautiful car filmed by Scottie D.

most do not have the trim that mine has, like under the door sills or around the wheel wells. They seem to all be a little different from one another. I looked at images online and it looks like most have the call out numbers on them

The problem with just looking at images online is that most of these cars have been changed a lot from when they were originally built. Yes, nowadays almost every car with a stripe has the engine size designation below the stripe. Not because it was originally equip'd that way, but simply becuse it looks far better. Plus the fact that any engine size call out, even custom, are included in the price of a stripe (free!), who wouldn't add them on? ...unless doing a OE Gold correct resoration.

Really, on any true performance Mopar, the more you break them down the more most cars become nearly a 1 of 1.

A friend I was stationed with at Edwards AFB in 1974 had one that was Beige with a white stripe and white interior. It was a 360 3 speed. He bought it new.
I've never seen another Duster or Dart in this color combo.

Here's one for you guys!

74 360 four speed, B5 on black, power steering and brakes, no console, numbers matching and looks to have never even been modified (still wearing it's manifolds!!!!) only missing pieces thus far are the seats and air cleaner housing, but being from northern Indiana it's looking like one hell of a restoration coming up, doing this one for my girlfriend!

I'll have to snap some next time we're messing with the car, picked this one up as part of a package deal over the summer, we're thinking an OE resto but she wants pink, either way we have a lot of sheetmetal to replace before we get that far

You'll have to ask me again after we put it in primer lol, she wants it barbie-jeep-ish pink and I'd like to see it back in OE spec, but it's her car.... I'm going to keep trying to get it blue and maybe plasti-dipped pink or vinyl wrapped pink lol (I hope she doesn't read this!!!)

Sobiecam- That looks like a Real 360 car. That blue is beautiful. It's called Lucerine blue. Check out youtube Scottie D filmed one in factory blue like that one -beautiful

Dan I will if I come across it, it looks like it rusted off of the car, once I show you guys some more pictures of it you'll see what I'm saying lol, my current assessment of the car (havent got it airborne yet to really look well underneath) is that the only original sheetmetal that will be on it in the end is the roof, decklid, firewall, package tray, and maybe drivers door and passenger fender, I guess the inner wheeltubs are okay too lol.

Ordered mine 12/15/73, received it on 3/15/74. Spacemaker pack, 3.21 sure grip, radio delete, bench seat w/pull down armrest, dual chrome mirrors, etc. kept it mostly original. (Added Hooker headers and Edlebrock vapor injection to help performance.) It's quick but incredibly squirrelly on damp/wet surfaces. Only have 67k miles on it. Brown with white stripes. Original paint, still looks great. Interior is like new. Garage kept in So. Cal.

Tire Smokin- Yes that sounds really cool. I really like the bench seat with the pull down armrest and you got the racing mirrors too!
