You are both correct regarding the seat cover patterns I think.

However, the seat frames are correct for 71-72 A, B, E body I'm pretty sure.

These have the chome seat back release buttons.

I have read that in later 72 they went to the ones without the plastic backs on A and E bodies but not B bodies.
