which is better and why forward or reverse pattern mvb

Thanks Guys, I get the 3rd to N thing, I get the burnout thing, that side of things Im all good with, but yes it is a VB question. And it was Cope Racing that mentioned that a FPMVB is Not recommended for high horsepower applications as opposed to their RPMVB's. Ill shoot them an email asking why.

I spoke with cope also. I was told that the forward pattern valve bodies were basically a stock valve body that had a shift kit. I was told that the forward pattern set ups "trick" the trans into manual shifts. they do not increase line pressure or holding power. I was told that the reverse pattern valve bodies have a highly increased line pressure thus increasing holding power. I am in the process of rebuilding my trans now with upgraded friction materials and a new rpmvb.
