Stop in for a cup of coffee

Ive got a right front axle going bad on the Magnum. Blew out the inner boot. Anybody change one before? Thinking of changing it myself, but its my driver. So, just wandering if any 'special' problems i might encounter. Will i lose tranny fluid when it comes out? This thing doesnt even have a dipstick...
