Trick Flow 440 heads, The Real Deal?

I have a silly question.

how are the valve cover bolts drilled? on my eddy heads they are not drilled 90* to the gasket surface. they are drilled at an angle like the factory iron heads were. I cannot use the fancy fabricated valve cover with the eddy heads because the bolts are not straight.
