they are going to lay eggs and get bigger and bigger and leave their skins behind and usher in the evilness of their essence. If they were an awesome animal people wouldn't be creeped out with them.

Best solution is get a spade shovel and re-locate their heads and problem solved.

My wife very resolutely did that when I was showing a newly hatched snake in the garden of our summer house. We only have one species of poisonous snake here in Sweden and this was one of them. They are very common in the rocky landscape of the west coast but they are not really any more poisonous than a wasp so unless you're allergic you'll be fine.

Our little moment of nature studies was terminated by a protective mother with a shovel. :D
