Yup, because now, when he comes back to it he will have a sense of a fresh start as opposed to coming back with the frustration of still having to deal with it. It helps to keep the interest up and the frustration down.

Now we're starting to tear the front suspension off the Challenger.
We need to keep going on both of them, so we'll keep going on one until we hit a road block, then go to the other one while we figure out the plan for the other...
