I feel old now too because I used to use Minidisc

they never really caught on in the USA but were found around Europe and around the world ....I bought my first player in Dubai when I was a teen (early 2000s) .....and now no one uses them and they are looking old.

they were basically recordable Cds in a cartridge before recordable cds were around ...I think the main reason they didn't become more popular is because they were very expensive.
