Interesting CD/MP3 debate. I use Spotify for 90% of my music consumption and so do the kids (well, they're more like 100%). In the car, however, I listen to nothing at all or the radio. Our newer car is one year too old to have streaming via Bluetooth so we have to use the earphone outlet on the phone and that isn't very convenient and you have to turn the volume on the phone up to 100% to get in level with the other sources in the system. So we mostly use that to play kid's songs to Sofia.
In the kitchen we have a Tivoli radio with Bluetooth that we sometimes play Spotify on. Surprisingly good sound quality in a very good looking package, we think.
As for my Dart, I will probably find one of those modern but oldschool-looking radios, possibly with Bluetooth if you can get that.
