The wife knows better by now. Her Dad was the one in the peanut gallery last night. "Why dont you go get a new one". Wife was explaining to him (incorrectly) what I was doing to fix it.

For me to not fix something its gotta be in pieces, and looking pretty hopeless. Of course even then you never know... (reference Duster thread below) LOL

I hear you. I enjoy fixing things. For some strange reaso though my wife always wants a repair guy to come fix things. I would be suspicious LOL. Except I'm the one who is home house sitting. Yesterday was a good example. We had heater trouble. Again. Told her it was the expansion tank. Repair guy comes out , I don't say a word. First thing he says is expansion tank. Her comment it was under the service contract and THEY fixed it.
