1974 Duster

Bad enough I have to spend 3 weeks working on the CSX (aka Satan's car) to try and make the Shelby Dodge event in MD next month.

With 1500 miles on the turbo it decided to toss its cookies.

I swear the car has a death wish.

Its back in the garage- Pulling the head to swap the turbo and install a EGT probe. While the head is off checking to see if TDC is being indicated accurately on the flywheel. Replacing the computer, power module, distributor, injectors, fuel rail, knock sensor, charge air sensor, hall effect pick up and rebuilding the injector sub-harness.

Before the turbo went the car had a mystery "skip" that only happened on the HP peak of the motor I was working on tracking down. Not sure what was causing it so doing the shot gun approach to try and make the event.

That kind of thing is what got me out of FWD Mopars. Got tired of mystery no start issues and broken parts, so I sold my GTC Turbo II and walked away. Regret selling it now, but that might be somewhat related to the couple of Daytona's I've seen with a RWD swap and a G3 Hemi between the frame rails (most recently one in Mopar Action).

Don't think my LeBaron was as bad as your CSX, though (been following some on your website).
