1965 Dodge Dart 270 2 dr sedan

The temp gauge was ok Anders!

I installed the Comp camshaft today. But one thing got my attention. The oil channels from tje liftets will not be covered. Should I include the old plate too of make a new thin one? I could make a gasket too!

Any suggestions?
