And as for Cali. I would need a second mortgage to get the gas money to drive this thing that way! I also love the rear of those dusters. As for my car it's the front that annoys me, I am half temped to do a reverse cowl, and a track style front valance. Try to make it a little more Aggressive.

A chin spolier would look good on it. The cowl hood would look ok too. Bet you didnt know this but the 73 to 76 dart hood with the bump in the center is a recycled stamping from the 69 barracuda. The dart sport twin scoop fits these hoods , as well as a fiberglass hood from a 69 cuda. I have seen these as flat hoods, as cowl induction hoods, and as six pack hoods. Check out US body source, or stinger fiberglass, and look at the 69 cuda hoods.

Also the stock energy absorbing bumper inner structures on your dart have about 75 lbs of additional steel structure bolted to them on either end. You may be able to make lighter mounting brackets for the steel outer bumpers and get rid of the heavy assed inner structure. And rid yourself of about 150 lbs dead weight.

Knowing that the stamping for your dart hood is essentially recycled tooling from the 69 barracuda may help you with a bigger selection choice of hoods.

Do you plan on converting your 8.8 to 5 lug? If so ford ranger, aerostar, bronco axles out of an 8.8 will work and are 5 bolt 4.50" circle. Same pattern as your mopar front discs. I think you can get the cobra rear discs drilled for 5 bolt too. This way you only need to carry one spare tire. I think when using the truck axles since they use an offset pumpkin and the mustang rear is centered you will need to strip the axles out of 2 seperate trucks. I cant remember which axle the longer or shorter ones you have to use.
