AlV 69 Dodge GTS project

Most of it will be unseen probably 4 inches will show.

Keeping in mind that the bottom edge is pressed up against the carpet and will not be easily visible I would try the following.
Smooth out the pitted edges or remove them from the bottom, using a grinder or file. Then I would sand the piece with 80,180, 400 ,800. something like that to smooth the face. After sanding buff and polish with tripoli and white. to start and see how that turns out they might be something you can live with .
Can't hurt, of course you could just get new ones too :) . lol

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any new ones. Otherwise, I would have probably already sprung for them. Thanks for the tips.
