What wouldn't be an insulting offer?

Given the two I'd prefer the '66 - better heads and forged crank, brackets and pulleys more like what you need if it's non-AC... but if the pan is off and the valve body gone - you need to consider the transmission as a core. It doesn't take much to block off a passage. Like a dead spider or grit. I'd go $500 on the '66. If the later one is complete 100%, it's worth his price all day long. So tread lightly.
