canadian to american money

Its good the american dollar has finally gained some value. It means the american companies can now turn to canada and get out manufacturing up and running better.

For selling down south aka americans. The dollar the way it is, is awesome because americans are more willing to vacation up here and also spend their cash up here.

the other hand it sucks for us canadians trying to buy stuff out of the states.

I would rather prefer our dollar lower to gain manufacturing jobs up here. Now only if the hydro rates would go down. Oh wait ... we are paying 80 cents a kw to the windmills.... so the rate will only go up from here to make up the 68 cents.
