Thanks! They work awesome, even with the 6.1 intake.

5.7 Hemi,

You simply use longer bolts to attach the 6.1 intake manifold to the heads?

They look really good, I like how you included the grooves for the O-rings.

Regards,

Joe Dokes

Joe, the bolts are longer, about 2 3/4 which is really no big deal even though they are metric, stainless to boot.

I was asked at one time and when I checked on the total costs. it was around 300 and I thought that was way to frickkin' high for us guys that are working way too damn hard for our money. That was along time ago, so maybe costs have come down, dont know for sure, but I'll ask again and post what I hear.

$300 for those is actually very reasonable, CNC time is at least $100/hr + the cost of 6061 alum is not cheap. A lot of people on this forum need to get in touch with reality, building a car, especially a Mopar is not cheap. You want cheap, build a Chevy!

Yeah it makes the runner longer, but in my case, I didn't want to mill down the timing cover so the car intake would clear the timing cover, hence the spacers.

I know cnc time and material isn't cheap, but damn it's alot of money.

I have a 2006 300C 5.7 AWD.
Originally bought as a donor car for my '65 Barracuda, but kinda loving the LX platform for now O:)

I am curious if these were intended to use stock 5.7 (pre-Eagle) heads and stock intake and just raise the intake runner height?
There are after market spacers available now, but all I can find are "Adapters" from 5.7 to 6.1 or from pre-Eagle to Eagle heads etc.

If you designed as stock "risers" only, I'd love to try this.
Any chance you have the CAD files still lying around and willing to share with a fellow Mopar nut?

Thanks.

Super nice work, but seeing them instantly made me think how badass would it be to make them out of machineable ceramic? They would insulate a lot of temperature from the manifold.
