I have finally received my 5.7 Hemi block for my project. Could someone please point me in the direction of someone that sells bolts for these? Let me explain, I have the block with heads and I need to add all the external bits and pieces. The problem I have is that when I have been buying the various parts they all seem to come without bolts. For instance if you buy an oil pan the bolts don't come with it etc etc etc. Being half a world away in Australia I can't just pop down to the local wrecker to get what I need and even the local Chrysler dealer couldn't help me. So is there anyone that you could recommend that would be a good source for these or even someone that provides a full kit? I have checked E-bay etc but have had no luck. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I'll help you out. I've had about 5 Hemi 5.7 engines most blown up. I have a ton of bolts for different things and some new gaskets and such. Shipping it Australia isn't a problem either.

Get in touch with me and send me a list and I'll do what I can for you. I can even find the parts and get them to you.

Rat Patrol put me onto eastcoastmoparts in Maryland , I've used them for various bolts and Gaskets . and I will use them again .

Aussie Dart - You'll need new head bolts, main cap and rod bolts. The Rest can be recycled.

Careful with the intake bolts, they fatigue quickly.

If you're running an aftermarket pan...most say you need shorter Milodan pan bolts - I know I did.

If you tend to pull your engine apart somewhat often then I would recommend studs. They can be reused and are stronger and pull down smoother than OEM. The initial cost is higher but being able to reuse them makes up for it quickly. I use ARP and can't say anything about other brands.

I'm from Australia and have used moparamerica.com and wholesalemopar.com in the past, I'd use both again without hesitation. Generally all of these online vendors are very similar pricing from my experiences so you should be fine. IF you can find a part number for each part you want, you'll be able to order it. Sometimes it's harder navigating these websites through the menu's than punching in the known part numbers. As Mal mentioned using the Milodon bolts if you are using one of their oil pans. It might pay to have a read of his topic on his build before you order just to double check you have got every little nut and bolt. I've made that mistake to realise I've needed a few extra parts and then you have to place a new order and get stung with another lot of shipping! All the best.
