Jumping Amp Gauge After MSD Install

Yeah I wanted to get rid of the ballast resister but I couldn't find a switch 12v source that kept at least 9v when cranking except for the old coil +. This is obsessively after the resister.

So consent 12v is right to the battery positive.

Ground is on a post on the firewall

Currently using the White wire for points trigger (will switch to mag pick-up when I change engines)

Switched 12v from old coil + (blue factory wire)
