Good Customer Service
In February of 2015 I purchased 2 Perma Cool 9" electric fans from Summit Racing. I wasn't ready for them until last night when I finally wanted to lay out my shroud for the 2 fans. Opened the one box and used that fan to lay out the mounting areas. Cut my holes for the fans then went to the 2nd fan box. Took the fan over to the shroud only to find out it was an 8" fan in a 9" box. Damn, so I get on the phone and called summit. Took the service rep quite a while to find the information on the fan purchases but she finally came back and said she would ship me out another fan immediately and all I need to do is write "return to summit racing" on my correct fan and sit it out in my shipping location and UPS would pick up the fan for return and drop off my new fan at the same time. I didnt need to pay for the new fan in advance and wait for a credit either. This was around 9:30 PM last night. I wake up this morning to find an email from them letting me know my correct fan has already shipped.
I call this great Customer service. We hear so many bad stories so I wanted to pass this good one on. This happened 3 years ago with a set of headers for my vette and they handled it the same way. This is the reason I only use Summit.
