Pro Touring 10K

So,Still waiting on some parts. So to occupy my time . I finished up cutting the other drip rail off got both sides finished now. Cut the inner tie rods so the wheels would set straight. So I moved to the shifter. The shift arm on the MA5 is very short and is just a steel rod in a ball socket. Not such a nice looking piece. So I took the shift lever apart and machined a flat on the shaft so I can bolt on a nice shift arm. The one in the picture I used from another build in the shop for a test fit. Looks much better.

Are you keeping the bench seat?

If you are, what you need is a 71-74 B-body non-console pistol grip handle, like so

If you're going buckets I'd say you might be better off with the E-body pistol grip, looks like your shifter comes up further back than the standard A-body 4 speed so the shorter E-body handle would work better with buckets.
