just got off the phone with don from fbo....
he knows his stuff!! going with his set up for the car, I ' m taking the orange box out, and c/d coil I have and curving the distributor like he suggested and a few other things... a real stand up guy over the phone!! will post when parts arrive and I ge it all in... can't wait:cheers:
 
Are you getting the version with built in rev limiter. I would recommend if you take it to the max anytime. I had an fbo box & coil in my 408, and it ran great.
 
I replaced my home recurved distributor with the fbo pro street distributor and man what a difference! Should of installed it sooner! Power everywhere was picked up Don definitely knows his stuff!:burnout:

I have his original black box and coil in my dart since 2003 or so, also have his electronic voltage regulator that looks like the stock unit. Works great. Thinking of upgrading to his new unit to get rid of the ballast resistor and have a rev limiter.
 
Was having issues with the orange box in my Dart, switched to FBO box with rev limiter and coil, Man, What a difference. Easier starting, and better throttle response . :blob:
