1964 Plymouth Valiant Project Car
1964 Plymouth Valiant 2 door post. Originally from San Jose, CA. I bought the car back in 2005 with big hopes, but then 2008 happened and the project was put on hold. It is a very clean car with about 80% original paint. No rust with the exception of some pin holes in the floor boards due to it being a rubber floor mat car. There is some very slight body damage to the RH side door and fender, but very repairable. The rear tail panel seems to have been hit at one time because I saw rivets and Bondo between the tail lights. Other than that, the car is straight. The car is completely disassembled and mounted on a rotisserie. The rotisserie comes with the car or I will sell the car without the rotisserie for a lower price, but I won't sell the rotisserie without the car. The only thing I started was frame connectors and trimmed the rear floor boards for their installation, but they were never welded into the car. There is no drivetrain or suspension. I have all the other parts removed from the car (interior, glass, trim, etc.) It was originally built with a slant six (170 ci) three speed (on the tree) manual transmission, radio delete. I can supply a 360 block, crank, and some other parts to go with the car Basically a 1977 or 78 360 2bbl van engine with 44,000 miles on, it in a basket. The block and heads are apart and would need to be completely rebuilt. Missing intake, carb, cam, timing chain, and exhaust) . This would make a very good race car or modified street car. I can take more photos if there are areas you would like to see in more detail. Located near Detroit. $2500 obo. Send me PM if interested.
