318 f.a.s.t class , oem stock appearing

With all the things that are going with the f.a.s.t class , i see the more and more 340 small blocks getting stronger and stronger in the stock oem look , i REALLY want to do a 318 2 barrel set up because my barracuda is a 318 3 speed from factory , runs a strong 5.9 but really thinking to swap the factory 318 to stroke it or the heavily modified all the internal and have some huge powerfull heads to wake it up , thinking or running with exhaust manifold ported and extrude honed and a modified aluminium or iron intake / same with the heads , what do you guys think about a stock looking 2 bbl 318 with manifolds running in the 12s or less !
