318 f.a.s.t class , oem stock appearing
Build your 318 with a 390 stroker, ported EQ heads, good roller cam, stock 318 intake and stock 318 2bbl unmodified. Put all your money into a NOS direct port fuel and fogger system plumbed on the bottom of the intake. When you want to go fast, click a toggle switch inside the car and the stock 2bbl carb becomes your NOS on/off switch.
The stock 2bbl with the correct jetting will allow you to idle and drive up to 3000 RPMs or basically get you to the track. The NOS system is what will get you down the track and put up the big numbers you want.
If you are going to run the stock exhaust manifolds you need a custom cam that takes that into account.
