my heads and decks have been machined for cometics. will try and sorse some hylomar, otherwise will fit with no coating.

IMO, if they've been properly machined for cometics (50RA or finer) there's really no reason to use any sealer. I've never had an issue with any MLS gasket when the deck and head finish was correct.
